I don't ordinarily spend a lot of time planning group shots. Usually I use the environment and the group's personality guide me on how we'll proceed. However, from the moment Brittney and Chris said "I do", I knew it was going to be something different.
Rather than me guide them, they just kept trying out ideas on their own. Who am I to get in the way of such enthusiasm? Gee whiz, what fun.
It was like watching a synchronized swim team. Someone would yell a suggestion and the group would hit the pose.
Then the balloons showed up . . .
and someone said "Let go!" Could have been me. Maybe.
I did momentarily get them into a classic pose . . .
Then they were off again. First the girls . . .
Then the guys.
The on to Starbucks - ostensibly on their way to the reception. What a delightful crew! Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
