how I work

I am there for the whole day, not just a few hours - working quietly - making sure memories are not lost.
I'm restless, moving constantly through the scene.  Oddly enough, I'm also nearly invisible. It's rare that guests notice me. A wedding day should be full of wonder and joy, not me.  I'm there to capture it, not direct it.
After a wedding, I spend  days building the compilation of the day. I pull together the visual story via extensive editing, enhancing the unique imagery.
In wedding photography, this is often called "wedding photojournalism", "documentation photography" or "artistic reportage".  Also "capturing stories".
Beautiful memories are it's natural consequence.
